William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing gets a fresh twist in post–World War II New Orleans. When Don Pedro and his fellow U.S. troops return home from the war, the city fills with celebration—and plenty of romantic mischief. Beatrice and Benedick trade clever insults while secretly falling for each other, while young loves Hero and Claudio find their relationship tested by rumors and jealousy. 

Set to the lively spirit of the New Orleans jazz scene, our show will feature original music composed by Fairfield Ludlowe High School Senior Brandon Lawrence.
